For heater hose fittings, just know the pipe thread size, hose barb size, and relative height you need and go down to your local NAPA store. Make the best clerk there get out the book with the pictures and find the one you need. If the clerk asks "what year and model?" go to another store. I have still had to do some minor trimming on some of the 90 degree units to clear the runners on aftermarket intakes however. The coolest way is to use braided stainless lines -10 size. Just get the straight pipe thread adapter for the intake side, use a 90 degree hose end. At the heater core, you can heli-arc fittings onto the core, or just user adapter fitting to go back to a hose barb and still keep 3" of rubber heater hose.
