I don't know who the seller is, but he or she can't be very smart OR he/she can't be serious about selling the car.

Evan's CSX4206 is likely one of the most detailed Shelby's in existence, if you're into the "authenticity of a replica" thing, and that CSX with all the red/blue Aeroquip fittings isn't even in the same ballpark as Evan's car. And there's absolutely nothing special, or at least can't be duplicated very easily, about single Holley 4-bbl 700 HP "Bill Elliott" FE engine. Whoop-Dee-Doo. I'm sure that windscreen alone is worth "BooKoo" bucks.

And anyone that can spend $500,000 on a Shelby replica, can probably sidestep a few "landmines" at some State's DMV and get their "Competition-series" replica registered for the street. Good luck in CA though.

If anyone is serious about buying a top-of-the-line Shelby replica, then they should be calling Evan. OTOH, it might not be worth buying Evan's CSX, when you consider the conversations and correspondence that will have to take place with Evan. Some buyer might have to hold the phone in one hand and also hold a hammer in the other hand. I can see a buyer either: a) smash the phone during the conversation or b) take some self-inflicted blows to the head before, during and after the conversation.
