The one in the photo is the show car style. The idea was to always have the unit pointing perfectly forward. The top comes off and you can actually adjust it from inside without having to turn the distributor. Its held in by an allen head set bolt on the drivers side that locks it down. This one is less than 2 inches tall but requires you to drill the block and tap out threads to lock it down. I can make the same one with standard mounting but it ends up being 3/4" taller which isn't an issue, just depends on the look your trying to achieve.
