No worries on break in or down the road. As said, this is no longer the sixties. A friends Boss 302 race car wiped a cam at Watkins in less than 20 miles. He replaced the solid with a roller lifter and gained power as well as no issues with oiling.

Thanks Cashburn. I guess I'm still a little in the old school. And no, I don't have a SFT engine (anymore).! Yes, I have seen the same thing twice and both changed to rollers. No hope for Patrick though!
