Glad to be part of the club as a new bdr owner #964. I have two questions that I hopeful can get some answers for.

1. Does anyone use rubber hose or wire insulation over wheel safety wire? If so what do you use and where can it be bought? Looking to us more than just the wire around the wheel spokes.
2. Have Vdo gauges and I noticed when driving my voltmeter needle gets up almost to max I believe at 15 volts, and wonder if this is normal and won't cause any issues.
