In my opinion anyone who returns this car back to original is committing a crime - it must be one of the few originals that has genuine ongoing competition based development that ensures that it can compete against most modern machinery and should be kept exactly as it ends up to act as a benchmark to what can be achieved by intelligent modification and development without changing the essence of the car.

If I had the money I would pay well over the going rate for originals for this car whenever it came on the market, and if I had the money and the ability I would continue its development and active participation in the type of competition it has been set up for.
