Excellent video.
I was lucky enough to be part of a small group of Daytona Coupe owners that had dinner with Peter and Gayle here in the UK at the 2015 Goodwood Revival.
He gave us all a talk/presentation about the history, which was fascinating. Big photos, descriptions, insightful approaches to solving both human and engineering problems, etc.
But the thing that stuck with me was the emotional investment he made into the whole Coupe project (both with Shelby in the '60s and more recently Jim Price of Superformance who was also there - another amazing man). The first few minutes of the talk he was choking on his tears of joy at the whole 50th Anniversary occasion, he really appreciated being recognised for his against-the-odds effort.
Aside from the talk and dinner he made time to chat with each of us before and afterwards, signing our dashboards, looking at the different specs of our cars, he was genuinely interested.
He also loves a pint of Guinness, so he's alright in my my book!
