Was going to change my
oil this weekend but have a concern on my
oil filter placement. Currently it is super close to the frame, actually concerned if it will come off as it it really close (1/4"). It was changed prior to my purchase so I'm sure it will clear when removing it but hate to drain
oil and have same filter purchased and have removal/ installation issues. It currently has an FL-1A but I could replace it with an FL300 which is slightly shorter and would easily clear but no one stocks the FL300 locally. I'd rather stick with 1 qt filter if possible as the FL300 I'd 1/2 qt.
Guess my question is for those that have a newer BDR and the Roush 427R is what filter are you using and if t it's the FL-1A, how much room do you have?
