I discovered another issue (endless it seems) this time with the trunk latch arm. As it moves from locked to unlocked, the arm hits the body. Looks like I'll have to notch it like in the picture above. I've marked the body where it needs trimming back (black line) and where the hole needs to be made to allow the arm to clear (orange line)
