Don't know about your inspection process in Indiana but when I had to go thru the procedure while living in Colo on a rebuilt(no title)'67 El Camino ss, they never even questioned the tires and I had M/T "cheater slicks" on the rear. Unless the inspector is really savvy I don't think there would be a problem.
As I once heard "tires are tires a car should have four of them" (from a vechicle inspector)
