Right Tony,

They provide a 1"x2" metal tab that you hook to the upper right hole on the rear plate. So, it extends above the plate a bit. I was followed by a DPS Trooper a few weeks ago (due to the sound the car made as I started to roll. Guess he thought I was racing?) Once he saw the "Antique" tab, he just exited the highway without incident.
