I was hoping it was a large error in the typing.

Since 4000 lb-ft at 475 rpm is an easy error to spot, but it does read 400 lb-ft at 475 rpm.

So now we need to do the maths.

Being a race engine of the time, I'd say the torque peak was 4750, not 4000 rpm?
