I guess location plays a part in it as well. I just recently entered the hobby after YEARS of research on what I wanted... what I was willing to do... and what I was willing to pay.
I stumbled across & bought #509 (2007 build) earlier this year... had 900 miles on it... still looks new... and I paid in the upper 30's (seller had wanted in the mid 40's). The car even has a little provenance... in that it was previously owned & sorted by noted Cobra enthusiast Jay Nordstrom.
I'm very happy w/ the car & the manufacturer I chose... and very happy with the price I paid... but... that's in S Texas... and it would seem that the prices down here are a little lower than elsewhere.
I'd say Cashburn nailed the price range.
