Here in Illinois at a BP station a couple of years ago, a fuel tanker driver put a load of diesel into a station's gas tank.

It just seems suspicious that after about 30 seconds your engine bogs down, just about the time it takes for your fuel pump to supply the carb with something other than gasoline.

Yes thought about that but I don't think it ran long enough to get the fuel out of the carb bowls, and also would not explain why it woul not crank afterward.

Turned out to be the starter. I am just a little worried as I don't know why it failed. Can't have more than 75 starts on it since new.
