He's right. Tea Strainers create a huge air flow restriction, and a huge loss of power. This is a dyno run we did a few years ago. We made a run with the tea strainers on. Then popped them off and ran again. Nothing else changed, and the runs were only a couple of minutes apart.


By removing the tea strainers, we picked up nearly 100hp! With some tuning, we might have picked up a little more.

I'v seen these advertised by Pierce Manifolds. I haven't bought them yet, but I keep thinking about them.
