I know the backstory on this gauge. I purchased a tach from Chris (the ebay seller) and I commissioned him to build the corresponding speedometer. What is up for auction was his first crack at the speedo. I had him correct the screw placement and hashing for the gauge I ended up purchasing. If you need something SW related, Chris Schlaff is your man. He was fantastic to work with -- highly recommended.
Here's how mine ended up (sorry for the glare). I think the sweep is a bit more than the original but overall I'm quite happy with the results.
