Perhaps you can pay further tribute such as am yet to do, by giving your beast a moniker in memory. I need to arrange a "Dougie" sticker for the yellow car in memory of my wife's Dad, who passed away only a few months ago.

He was a car man and was quite inspired during my build, but only got the chance to sit in the finished car once, as his health had gone sufficiently south by that time.

Get you car finished at the very least, cause then you will know your dear departed will be smiling at your achievement.
