Looking back through old posts, it looked like most everyone was using a 30". The longest universal shaft I have found is a 35" and even that is shorter than the original Chevette column. I'm not sure if people are running their shafts through their headers to connect to the rack and pinion or if most are using 2 shafts and 3 joints.... I guess worst case is I send this one back to Jegs and swap it out for a longer one.
