last time I had my engine dyno it made 562 hp with 535 ft lbs. peak hp was@5900 rpms.. peak torque was 535 @5400 rpms. cam change only now my peak hp is 540@5800 rpms and peak torque 535 @4900. @2800 rpms it made over 460 ft lbs.. I don't have data from the original build until 3900 rpms.. so I cant compare the 2 at lower rpms. so the smaller cam has lower the torque curve down where I need it for street driving. with over 460 ft lbs @2800. all going in a 69 mach1. with 3.89 gears and a 2200 stall speed converter I hope it gets this car moving fast.. not worried about top end hp. most of my driving is under 3000 rpms. unless I take it to the track!. c-4 full roller JPT trans.. 28" tall tire out back..highways will be bad but not driving much on the interstate.. wish me luck. car should be done soon.. sat for ten years in my garage.. now been in the shop for over a yr. lots of work..
