Do as Gregg has said, Only thing I would add is do it with a mate, get him to hold one wheel from spinning, and you turn the other wheel.
Doing this will make your wheel turn and the tailshaft.
no noise then swap sides and repeat to find the noise.
You may want to jack it up and support under the outer bearing carrier so you have the driveline in its normally running alignment, rather than drooping.
