Hoping for some advice from the Racers out there, At Race Wars on the weekend my 2 10inch thermofans exploded together at 200kph.....they lost all their blades and only the outer plastic housing was still bolted to the frame, they also took out the radiator....lol.

Was a scary moment.

Now the fans fitted were El cheapo Calibre fans and about 5 years old. Now Im getting a new radiator I want to get decent fans that wont let go at high speed.

Do you think that just fitting a pair of Davies Craig or similar fans will fix the problem or do I need to reduce the air flow to stop the fans overspeeding at high speed?

Any advice?
