OK, you Cobra hotshoes, here's a chance to run your car and check out some cool cars as well.
The Jaguar Club of New England (JANE) will be holding its spring slalom on Saturday, June 17 in North Andover, Mass. from 10am-4pm
I ran this event in the fall and there's a great mix of cars that show up including some Triumphs, Corvettes, E-Type Jags, Vipers and even some of the new F-Type Jags that make some amazing sounds on the course. Jaguar Club North America uses a standard layout that has some room for acceleration:
http://www.jcna.com/sites/default/fi...lom_course.gif It's a low key event with food available and an opportunity to make a good number of runs.
As if that wasn't enough, and even if you only come to spectate, I have it on good authority it will be worth the trip just to see some of the other cars scheduled to be there. Ready for this? The Honey West Cobra (CSX 2540) will be there!!!!! Guys my age will immediately recognize the car from the '60s TV series starring the sexy, blond detective. The identical car is now locally owned and is resplendent in its original white over red interior with chrome wires:
Also scheduled to be on hand is a Morgan Aero 8, a wild iteration of the traditional Morgan sports car:
Should be a great day. Further details and a downloadable flyer are available here:
