Default Request from a car enthusiast

Hello fellow car (and cobra) enthusiasts. My name is Stephen and I have an unusual request. I am not a bot or scammer, just a guy looking for some help. My father recently has been diagnosed with aggressive cancer. For as long as I can remember, he's always adored the Shelby Cobra and replicas too.

I would like to rent, willing to pay a reasonable amount, someones Cobra for a day, preferably on mothers day weekend coming up. The hard part is, is where they live. My parents live in Kona on the Big Island, Hawaii. If anyone knows someone who is willing to do such a kind act, I would be grateful. I don't know how long dad has and there's not much I can do for him other than be there for him. I just want to see him smile and happy while he's still in ok health.

I plan on being in Hawaii mothers day weekend and I thought it would be really cool to rent a Cobra for a day for my parents and, depending on how many Cobra's there are on the Big Island, maybe do a cruise or something. Even a ride-along in a Cobra would be generous.

Please PM me here or at my personal email address at shamacher@hotmail.com. I don't like to give out my phone number on public forums but I will in an email.

A bit about me, I live in Brighton, Colorado, Lochbuie actually, and I currently have 3 vehicles. My toy/weekend driver is a 2001 Corvette, 6 speed, procharged, still need to do some work but putting down about 500rwhp at the moment. After the work that I plan to do to her, I hope to have close to 600rwhp. My multipurpose truck is a 2001 dodge 2500 cummins 5 speed. My daily driver for work is a 2006 Mazda 6, 5 speed. I've always worked on my own cars and would love to get my hands on a factory five kit car, or similiar, someday, then I'll be back scouting the forums for help and advice.

Thank you for reading my pity story but I hope something comes up from posting this.
