Default Mid Shifter

I have a TKO 600 that I installed the Tremec mid shifter on. The mid shifter moves about 7-8 inches forward and will use a conventional shift lever. You will have to take the tailshaft housing off to install it. You will need to get anaerobic sealant for reassembly (no gaskets).
I had to call Tremec to find one. They referred me to Diederich's Motorsports 682 365-5555.
People are saying you need a shifter with positive stops. That is not true.
The length of shift throw will be determined by the length of the shift lever (not included with the mid shifter).
Hope this helps you out,
Mark
