Hey Chris, I would suggest somewhere around the 1200+Kg mark with this engine and trans package; the beauty with this design will be that we can use the Audi quattro manual AWD transaxles and couple them to Windsors, Boss motors or LSA if we want to and then there would be some weight savings as the 5speed auto/sequential box is bloody heavy and the engine albeit alloy is a big bulky engine... There is not much different in the chassis to chassis weight between this set up and the std chassis set up.

As for Carbon fibre, well lets just say there will be none to be seen but to overcome the weight differential is all a matter of horsepower...
