Bill, they look great and I doubt anybody is going to get down on their knees and assess if they are original or not. Are you going to leave them flowing straight through or add a deflector up towards the brakes? SPF suggests for their FIA's that if the car is being driven primarily as a street car that the owner consider placing foam or some other blocking material in the back of the scoop as the brake scoops serve no practical purpose in normal driving situations. In addition, it limits the amount of water and road debris that the scoop might throw at the brakes.

I am leaving mine open as it is going to be pure race, but might consider blocking them off if I had a road car. Then again, it never gets that hot up here in update NY. Maybe where you are or in some of the states closer to the equator a little extra cooling might be beneficial.
