Alfredo,

The valve you have is close in design but different than the originals that were used, note the silver cap on the original valve photo. The original valves had "IMPERIAL" embossed on the selector handle. The silver part on the original valve was actually a diecast aluminum part. I have provided a photo below.
There were a couple of different methods used to identify the valve handle position, you need to remember that the labeling was done for the benefit of the driver. The labeling of the last iteration of the SAI team competition 289 Cobras had the labeling placed on the dash. I will try to post photos of the labeling from 1963-1964.
