FIA team 289 Cobra CSX2323 at the Nurburgring in 1964 just before it was wrecked......
The letters on the dash within the green box are for the fuel selector valve, "O" OFF, "M" MAIN and "R" RESERVE. There are other in period photos of other team Cobras that will show the same type of lettering but with the letters in different positions depending on how the mechanic building the race Cobra clocked the valve, there will be variances from car to car. There are also variances in locations, Miles had the selector valve diagram on the transmission tunnel behind the shifter on his Cobra where most of the FIA Cobras had them front and center on the dash.
