Are there any incidentals that should be considered when ordering them ie [ss valves, teflon valve seals, sodium filled exhaust valves etc] I only want to order once and want to get it right the first time. Last who manufactures the best items? The car is a semi show car and driven only on the street. Thanks for your time.
Ooops. I just re-read the OP. OP wants to buy a new set of aluminum heads, so now I'm confused, because the OP mentions stock cast iron heads too. I'm also kinda curious what 427 block the OP intends to use.

Also, Blue Thunder heads haven't been mentioned and I'm also kinda curious why? Is it because they have raised exhaust ports, availability or are the Survival and BBM heads just better?

I'm bored, my Cobra is still "at the spa."
