FWIW, wiring has to be meticulous to last, can't have wires wire tied to metal objects.
like i see on the steering column tube in your pic, the insulation will rub thru and short melt connectors and even in worst cases start a fire.
get them into a loom, use loom fasteners or what ever you can to keep wires from moving at all, put shrink wrap on the wire up and over the wire ends...etc......
