I put it on with a paint brush, seemed a little easier to get into the nooks and crannies. There was not a single brush mark when finished, the stuff just smoothed itself right out and looked like I sprayed it.
If you do use a paint brush, make sure it is a cheap one. Definitely a one-way
ticket for the brush.
