Thanks Ron, used the small screws that came with the visor kit and it only happened on the first one. The other three attaching screws snugged up fine, I even used locktite so I would not have to run the risk of over tightening. I am seriously considering drilling a small depression to terminate the crack and use a repair kit resin to fix the damage. I agree with you that because of the location it appears to be a low stress area and could allow for this kind of repair.
