I love John Christy's writing. I think it may be what actually hooked me on Cobras as a youngster.
I made the mistake of letting my parents get me two periodicals. I believe they were both published by Hot Rod, and are both still in my nightstand to this very day. The first was the "Shelby Cobra/Mustang Guide" and "Carroll Shelby's Racing Cobra", both printed around 1985. Wonderful books. Great pictures. In fact, some of the ones in the article above I think are in them.
