I have to admit though, the Cobra is a bit more of a handful than the Viper (in a fun way). 30 more HP and 800lbs less weight made for a "spirited" and "adventurous" first drive ha ha. Congrats! I've also had a few "spirited" muscle cars over the years, but the Cobra is, without a doubt, the most fun and "adventurous" to drive. Keep in mind, you'll be the center of attention to every automobile enthusiast you pass, smiles, thumbs up and stares of admiration abound.
Shortly after I purchased mine, I stopped at the local hardware store to have a spare key cut. When I came back out, an elderly gentleman was circling it on his mobility scooter. He said he was passing by and he just had to get a closer look at it. After a brief conversation, he asked if it sounded as good as it looked. When I fired it up, he got a big smile on his face, gave me a thumbs up and we went our separate ways. It's all part of the fun. Enjoy
