I highly recommend the tie-bar. The brackets alone (bolted to the differential case) were never designed to take the full toe-stress from acceleration. That force was absorbed into the original sub-frame. In addition, as installed in the Jag (with trailing arms) the stress on the inner pivots is only about 1/3 of what it is without the trailing arms.
