Correct.
There are ways of having a sealed PCV system that can still allow the engine to be ventilated to the air filter base under load.
I have a sealed pcv on one of my cars, Moroso air/
oil separator meant for crankcase racing vacuum pumps, maintenance free, self draining to valve cover, large 12an to base of air filter, no
oil in pcv line or breather hose to air filter. No fumes, no maintenance, no legal issues, no worries.
