I think I have the problem solved, I’ll just have to make a bracket for the tensioner! Bring it up and in closer to the center, giving more belt wrap on the crank and water pump pulleys! To get a little more on the crank and some on the alternator I’m also adding an idler pulley between them! The tensioner is on the power side instead of the slack side of the belt! If the spring tensioner don’t cut it I will go to a manual one!
What size headers are you running on that?

That won't work too well.
The tensioner should be on the slack side.
The engine is driving the ancillaries, and so they are load to the engine.
