I bought a power master for my FE, and the housing wasn't machined correctly, the drive gear didn;t engage the flywheel ring gear appropriately, almost ruined the ring gear.
I'd get a hi-torque starter that was rebuilt from a factory starter housing, then you're pretty confident it's going to fit.
It's been hit and miss for me using aftermarket speed equipment. Their standards are not that great at times.
