The Autolite AP45 (single platinum) are good plugs. The APP45 (double platinum backstrap and electrode tip) wear a bit better. The E3.72 would be your replacement.

I have no personal experience with the E3 product. But if the Spark Plug indexing school of thought is valid, the E3 plugs with 3 ground straps have 66% more spark kernel shielding than a standard plug. Which is not a good thing.
I'm thinking an open spark kernel must be a good thing or else Autolite would not modify the AR (Racing) series of plugs with cut-back (exposes the electrode) ground straps.
