We have several Unique in our group, most with big block and none drive, run, sound like what you have described.
Yes they will take a lot of abuse. Mike has a 487 ci with 630 hp 640 tq in his Unique. It spend it's first eight years on the race tracks. Mid Ohio was the main one. Car was build in '91 or '92.
