I agree or at least nearer to the -.5 in the specs. The shop I went to is very reliable and they said they couldn't bring it down to less than -2.0. this is because the upper arms are too long pulling the top of the wheel in.
I was hoping someone with a Gen IV might have had theirs aligned and could measure their arms length. I e mailed Tom but have not heard from him.
