Regarding authenticity, one has to wonder how many factory original SC's were equipped with heaters. Certainly none of the true track cars would have been equipped with that option.

My SC runs hot enough that even on cool nights (say 40 to 50 degrees F), once the engine warms up, and the fresh air vents are closed, you really do not need a heater at all. Each gallon of burnt fuel produces about 100+K of BTUs as I recall. So that is quite a large amount of heat per ~14 miles and smiles.
