I have no problem stopping the car all 4 wheels lock up if needed just make sure you have the master cylinders sized right for your braking system. The balance bar let's me fine tune the brakes to my liking and I don't find the pedal to hard to push, I also use a softer brake pad compound all around. My dad is 71 and he finds it easy to drive and stop.
