SPF. Park brake working great!
Bought new pads.
Removal is simple, support the diff, remove the 10mm nut on the rod, remove the two 19mm front diff bolts and the caliper drops right out.
I cleaned the hell out of it, chase threads cleaned bolts etc.
I also freshened up the disc with Garnett paper wit the car in gear...little scary but worked great.
Putting the new pads in you leave about 1.5 mm of the heads sticking up, don't tighten so that the pads can rock.
All there is to adjustment is doing the back first that is adjusted by double nutting the 10x1.5 mm stud "Tom bolt" (17mm wrench) turning it till the brake binds, backing off a touch, then doing the same to the adjusting bolt (13 mm head) which adjusts the front.
The rod is not used to adjust!
Now holds no problem on a steep driveway!
