Was bored.
I finally got the engine back in the car after the rebuild from the failed #5 main bearing (remember that thread?). After cam break-in I had to put the inner springs in and was looking to borrow a valve spring compressor that worked with shaft mounted rockers. I learned that the lever style typically used for stud mounted rockers has a slightly rounded area on top where the lever bends and is designed to work with rocker shafts.
