Another potential source would be the Street Rod shops that sell a lot of Mustang II suspension components. Heidts, etc. They might have, or be able to recommend a front bar. 1" front, 3/4" - 7/8" rear sounds about right. If the LS uses stock late Mustang rear suspension components, than a stock or aftermarket Mustang rear bar would also fit.
Really wierd. The LS is very similar to the CR. Why they would recommend not putting one in.
I just broke one of the factory bolts holding the sway bar to the control arm, eliminating roll control from the bar. Noticable increase in body roll, and speed at which car can negotiate a corner. It does work, and not having one can hurt your handling. Replacing bolts with grade 8.
