Longevity and durability will all depend on exposure to the elements and quality of materials.
As far as matching the color. If you can't find a specific paint code. You will need to find a painter that can experiment with pearls or candy colors to get what you want. A good painter should be able to put down a black base and make a candy purple pearl to your liking. I'd think a couple to few coats of a candy pearl (depending on product and application methods) should give you the effect you are looking for.
