My car just sits in the garage from about Thanksgiving to Easter, unless there's a super-warm winter's day, which happens ever five or six years or so. But, each spring, I disconnect the MSD, and spin the starter until I see the needle on the oil pressure gauge kick up a little bit -- that's the really easy way to spin the oil pump. Then I fill the bowls up with a squirt bottle, splash a little down the top, throw some salt over my left shoulder, and fire her up. Yep, it's my spring ritual.
