A few very worthwhile mods:
Craig’s gas pedal fix
Coolant hose reroute
Motor mounts

You really need to pull the Half shaft to do the boot on the cv, I’ve done the inner, the little try yoke just knocks off...pretty straightforward a good solid mornings worth of work.

As for tight valve covers I’ve had luck with steel cored cork glue on both sides with permeated gasket sealer, it’s kind of permanent but with a hydro motor there’s not much need to pop the covers very often...

And replace he seeds cable, not that hard and only like $25 from Napa...
