TKO-600 new in 2004, Liberty mods in 2011 or 12. 65,000 miles or thereabouts.

Started w/ Dexron as recommended, ran Cobra Valley's Ultra-Shift, Royal Purple SynchroMax and finally Red Line MTL. I didn't notice any real differences in shifting with the various fluids although others have indicated a difference. Liberty didn't mention any serious wear issues during the rebuild/mods. Planning on continuing with MTL when I complete the current build.

I too have heard about running the fluid a bit low, perhaps a third of a quart low, sorry don't remember the exact amount Supposed to improve shifting due to less fluid for the gears & synchros to turn through.
